زمانے بھر کے دکھوں کو لگا لیا دل سے

 اس  آسرے  پہ  کہ اک غم گسار اپنا ہے

उन्होंने अतीत के दुखों को पूरे मन से लिया

   इस आशा में कि शोक करने वाला अपना है

He took the sorrows of the time from his heart

   In the hope that a mourner is his own
